Sure...
Your wife's sister's son's friend is a whiz on computers and can bang out a website for you for $500, BUT... You're entrusting sometimes the ONLY face of your business that people will see to someone who isn't experienced with the "rules" of design or web sites - why things are done the way they're done; what colors mean and convey subliminally to your audience; accessibility - how and why some things are designed for low vision, no vision, the elderly, and more... There's a TON of information, education, and consideration that should go into even THINKING about starting a design - of which most novices are unaware - and this applies to all things considered: logos, business cards, web sites, signs, billboards, and on. I'm happy to work on all of it - large or small design projects.
With whom I work
- Small businesses and start-ups
- Larger companies with busy marketing departments
- Design and communication agencies
The initial process for new clients is:
- Discovery call
From your initial contact, we’ll arrange a convenient time to have a no-obligation discovery call. - Short questionnaire
If your project is large (e.g. a logo or new identity, website or brochure), you will receive a short questionnaire. This will help us both with understanding your requirements and thought processes. We will go through the questionnaire on the call and fill in any gaps. - Proposal
After our call, you will receive a proposal for your project, outlining the work involved, costs and an approximate timeframe. - Start date
If you decide to go ahead, we will agree on a start date and get your project booked.
Pricing
This is the big question, isn't it? There are a few items for which there are fixed rates for design, but most projects are unique and require a bespoke proposal based on need. I understand that budget may be a deciding factor for many, so feel free to email or call with project requirements to get a ball park first.
